Mediterranean diet is a healthy & clean diet. It has proven to help people lose weight, restore health, fight disease, lower health risk, and enjoy dieting.

The Mediterranean diet is all about eating natural, hormone free, healthy foods. Foods like natural cheese, berries, olives, kefir, whole grain bread, fresh spinach, onions, green beans, tomatoes, and sauteed peas.

A study in the March 15 Journal of the American College of Cardiology credits the "Mediterranean diet" with a lower risk of spikes in blood pressure and blood sugar, calling the diet 'strongly associated with decreased metabolic syndrome risk.'

A Mediterranean diet relies heavily on healthy fats like olive oil and unprocessed grains, produce and fish. Red meat, salt and butter are limited.
The Mediterranean diet continues to gain followers who are feasting on the healthy and delicious options featured in this way of eating. First, it should be noted that this is not a “diet” like the grapefruit diet, the cabbage soup diet or the Adkins diet. The Mediterranean diet embraces foods that have a slew of added benefits beyond being less packed with useless calories. “lengthened life, anti-cancer and anti-depression properties, weight management, protection against Alzheimer’s disease, improved symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, and decreased risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol and diabetes.” Cheese and yogurt are eaten in moderation.
